In 2001, Davis Storm debuted as part of a new group in
Australian wrestling. Explosive Pro Wrestling’s first show saw
this young man take part in a 16 man tournament. Although he
would eventually fall in the finals, Storm did enough to prove
to Perth wrestling fans that he would be a force to be reckoned
with for some time to come.
And he has proven exactly that in the past 6 years as he has
developed into a mainstay of Perth and Australian wrestling. He
has made a career out of creating history. He became the first
EPW champion in May 2002 He participated in, and won, the very
first 60 minute Ironman match to ever take place on Australian
soil (January 2005).
Over the years, he has had the opportunity to access some of the
best trainers both within Australia and abroad. Storm’s
formative training took place under the watchful eye of Col
Dervany in Adelaide. And just recently, Davis travelled to
California to train under former New Japan Pro Wrestling star,
Kendo Ka Shin.
This training has moulded Storm into one of the most
accomplished wrestlers in Australia today. As one of the head
trainers of the Dynamite Factory in Perth, Storm demands
excellence from himself in all of his wrestling pursuits and is
anxious to get to November 23rd to test himself against the best
from around the world.
With this man’s legacy for creating history, do not be surprised
if he is there at the end fighting for the gold.
