Fergal Devitt Out! Claudio Castagnoli in!

Last week, NWA officials were shocked by the news that Fergal Devitt would be unable to travel to Perth to compete in the Australian Title Tournament. Unfortunately, Devitt’s commitments for New Japan Pro Wrestling took priority and a resolution was unable to be found that would allow Fergal the time to travel to Australia.

But it did not take long for someone to step into his spot. Claudio Castagnoli has asked to be removed from his 6 man duties to secure the final position in the tournament.

NWA officials were delighted with Claudio’s desire to be a part of the tournament and have awarded him the final place in this historic event.

This leaves the NWA tag team champions, Karl Anderson & Joey Ryan, to fend for themselves as they continue their search for two Aussies to step up to the plate. As of yet, their challenge has gone unanswered. Who will step up and defend Australia’s pride?
