Drawn Match Adds Two More in Tournament
August 25th was supposed to see one more of Australia’s finest
wrestler take their place in the NWA Australian championship
tournament. Instead it saw two.
With the help of our affiliate fed in Perth, Explosive Pro
Wrestling, a qualifying match was held between
Bobby Marshall
and Davis Storm.
Both of these men have represented NWA Pro in the United States
and were both desperate to gain a spot in the tournament.
Both Marshall
and Storm showed
plenty of fight, grit and determination as they battled for a
gruelling half hour. Despite pulling out all the stops, neither
man could do enough to put the other down for a three count as
the time limit expired.
After hearing of this draw, NWA Pro officials decided that both
men deserved a chance to chase their dream of becoming the very
first NWA Australian Champion.
So with Marshall
and Storm into the
tournament, only one place now remains. We already know that
Rocky Romero (Cuba) and Nelson Creed (Canada) will square off in
the near future to decide who will be the final entrant into the
tournament.
