Open Challenge to Australia – BEAT US IF YOU CAN

All over the United States, the names Karl Anderson and Joey Ryan mean trouble. These two men have a reputation for causing as much controversy as they possibly can. But these tactics have obviously been successful as this team has steadily climbed the ranks to now sit on top of the heap as the current NWA World Tag Team champions.

Their ability to get under the skin of their opponents, as well as the fans is legendary. But they appear to be particularly fascinated in singling out ‘foreigners’ for treatment. In the US, that has seen them chase Mexico’s best all over the country in an attempt to prove their superiority over their southern based neighbours.

But it has also seen them constantly degrade Mexican wrestling fans all over America. They have even stooped low enough to try and desecrate the Mexican flag.

Whether or not they actually believe the venom they spew is irrelevant. Ryan and Anderson will do whatever they have to in order to incense people wherever they travel.

And now, they’re looking to do it in Australia.

On November 23rd 2007, the NWA World Tag Team champions will travel to Challenge Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. They are searching for ‘three Aussie wankers’ (their words, not ours) who will step up to fight them and their partner, Ring of Honour regular, Claudio Castagnoli.

This is a formidable team that will need three incredible wrestlers in order to simply be competitive. Who will step up to the challenge? Can they hold off the American invasion?
